&lt;p&gt;In .NET 10, the &lt;code&gt;System.String&lt;/code&gt; class adds a &lt;code&gt;CompareAsNumbers&lt;/code&gt; method for comparing strings as numbers. This is very useful for sorting strings that contain numbers, such as file names or version numbers.&lt;/p&gt;
